Thousands of fight fans and friends/supporters of public safety showed up in earnest at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa last Saturday night for the 3rd Annual Omaha Guns & Hoses Charity Boxing Challenge.
The girls of Team Omaha Promos (shown above) were out in force as well. Â The weather was great outside the arena, the beer was cold inside, and the fights were just plain magnificent! The Firefighters won a closely contested overall win for the team trophy and a year’s worth of bragging rights.
Totals are still being tallied from the night, e.g. attendance, number of awesome Omaha Promos designed promotional shirts with custom screen-printed design [grin], and the amount of money generated for local charities such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Special Olympics, but it was obvious to anyone attending, the evening was a roaring success.
